Our new flagship table, released for 2024, is truly out of this world. The X-Series tables represent the world’s first functional glass top and frame pool tables, which conform to the World Pool-Billiard Association (WPA) standards.
With our solely owned and patented Vitrik surface on the glass, the balls allow spin/English while also providing total impact protection from gameplay to the glass underneath and allowing the balls to roll smoothly and quietly. See our videos page for a demonstration of the ball’s behaviour.
The machined glass supports, bonded to the glass, are inspired by our signature industrial design motif and are a table feature. The symmetrical, angled frame is designed to hold the attention of even the most discerning individual.
All machined components are made from aircraft-grade aluminium or structural steel for aesthetics, longevity, and safety. Our bespoke manufacturing ensures each part of the table, from the glass to every individual bolt, is quality checked several times and thus manufactured to the highest Australian standard. The frame features eight legs, each made of two 15mm toughened “crystal” safety glass for security and aesthetics. The glass is further supported by machined steel brackets that protect the bottom of the glass from direct force and distribute the sheer and perpendicular forces associated with everyday use of the table.
Unique to this design, the ball collecter, mounted to the middle legs and separate from the rest of the ball return system, defies belief and gives the impression it is suspended in the air. The balls run silently from the pockets, guided to a central ball runner, and then gently fall into the collector. At Elite, we believe in making the ball returns a feature of each table, and we are proud of this design feature.
Taking over the reins as our flagship table, from our long-established G1 glass top pool table, the strong lines, crystal glass, intersecting legs, and clever ball return system will make this table the jewel of the most exclusive home or venue.
Vitrik retains consistent roll characteristics over its lifetime, unlike cloth, which varies with wear, damage, chalk build-up, and whether it has been brushed recently.
We provide our custom ball set to work with Vitrik. If your Vitrik surface is damaged or worn from heavy usage, it can be recovered on-site.
A warranty of 10 years applies to our tables.
